Iida
I began my career at an entertainment company, where I worked on character design and development for both home console and arcade games before becoming a freelance illustrator.
Since then, I have created numerous illustrations used as props in films and television dramas. I was honoured to receive an Encouragement Award in the 15th Manga Awards (Autumn Division) hosted by Alphapolis.
I currently work as a professional manga artist while also teaching as a special lecturer in manga and illustration at several schools.
More recently, I created the fictional girls’ manga “Koisuru Amika”, which appears as a prop in the live-action adaptation of Yano-kun no Futsuu no Hibi (Yano-kun’s Ordinary Days).
Hara
Hello! I'm Hara, an illustrator and manga artist from Miyagi Prefecture, Japan.
While studying at an art university, I work as a freelance illustrator and manga artist, mainly creating content for online media. I draw manga across a wide range of genres, from black-and-white manga manuscripts and background art assistance to full-colour report comics.
I absolutely love drawing cute girls with a pop and distinctive style! Let’s work together to bring the things you love to life through art!
Mii
Hello! I'm Mii.
I love drawing manga and creating characters. I have received awards in manga competitions, had my work published in magazines, and worked as an assistant on a manga series.
I'm looking forward to seeing all the manga and characters you create!

About Us
About
The Children's Manga School was created as a specialised programme of the Kodomo Design Academy, organised by the Developmental Diversity Association. It was established with a focus on teaching children how to create manga.

For around ten years, we have been supporting parents raising children with developmental disabilities and those who may be considered to be in the grey area of developmental needs. In 2021, we became an incorporated association.
In September 2022, we launched the online art school Kodomo Design Academy® as part of our efforts to create a welcoming place for children who may find it difficult to attend mainstream extracurricular classes.

Today, we offer a wider range of courses and classes that are open to all children. Guided by our theme, “Pursuing What You Love”, children learn from professional instructors and spend their time drawing with excitement, fully immersed in what they love.
In April 2025, we launched a new school specialising in manga, inspired by our desire to help children further develop their creativity and powers of expression.
The quality of our instructors and lessons is the same as that developed through the Children's Design Academy.
Just like the Children's Design Academy, the children are at the heart of everything we do.
Our instructors and staff are dedicated to creating a place where children can truly enjoy themselves, feel excited and inspired, and always have somewhere to go to fully immerse themselves in the things they love.
